This stage of learning favours the use of acquired knowledge in new contexts. Tabernacle School invests comprehensively in helping our students to acquire and begin to embrace values such as ethics, citizenship, cultural diversity, care for the environment, cultural relations, and valued qualities required by today's world.
The transition experience in this age group, if not filled, can cause gaps that will affect the individual throughout his/her life. Therefore, we value developing skills in students, such as critical thinking, empathy, communication, leadership, ethics, among others that will help them develop the confidence required in adulthood.
We provide support classes and reinforcement for our students, as we are aware that this is an important stage in their education.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.."
Congratulations to our Year 11's on their GCSE results!

The Next Big Step
Leaving Secondary School and being introduced into adulthood is one of the greatest challenges of every teenager. We make every effort to ensure that this is the smoothest transition possible, offering students advice and support.
“I am so grateful for everything this school has done for me. I have been here for 14 years and had my ups and downs, but I am happy I came through and will miss all of you. Mrs Wilson and Pastor Derrick I love you with all of my heart. Thank you for continually having faith in me and believing in me, even though, I could sometimes be difficult. I will miss you all very much. God Bless” Adiya Williams
“My 3 years at Tabernacle School have been the best 3 years of my life. It sounds cliché but it’s true. It’s like a big family. From the first day I came to the school I felt like I was at home. The teachers have taken me on a journey and I have come out a better person. Tabernacle School will stay in my heart forever.” Jasmine Garnette
“Tabernacle School has helped me a lot especially through the areas of education. This school has also shaped me as a person. I would like to thank all the teachers for getting me through all my tribulations.” Sharon Mingle
“Tabernacle School is my place, it is my second home. It will always be a part of my heart. I will take the Christian values that I have been taught everywhere I go and I will apply the abundance of skills that I have mastered into my studies in the future. I am so thankful to all my teachers who have been patient with me and who have cared for me with all their heart. Furthermore I thank Mrs Wilson and Pastor Derrick for giving me the opportunity to change my life. Without them I would not be the person I am today and I would not have inherited such a wonderful family. I am eternally thankful for the past 3 years.” Mason Klappholz
